Hotel: Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport
Location: Mangere, Auckland (14 Airpark Drive, Airport Oaks)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.
Hours: 40 hours per week, roster is over 7-days (Monday - Sunday).
Shifts: roughly 7:30am - 3:30pm & 2:45pm - 11:15pm.
Wage: $27 - $28.50 per hour

An opportunity exists for a well-presented, friendly, confident professional, who excels at customer service. This is a diverse role that encompasses the responsibility of daily operations, guest services and staff management, requiring excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
Your Role: What You'll Do and Your Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Supervise and oversee reception shifts, greeting guests.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
- Provide local tourism information and arrange tours/transportation.
- Ensure hotel and guest security.
- Report incidents or concerns to Managers.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations.
- Be able to fill in on occasion to work Night Audits if required.
- Liaise with other departments for special requirements.
- Assist other hotel departments as needed.
- Provide leadership in the Front Office department.
- Manage reservations and oversee Front Office tasks.
Preferred Skills and Experience: - Minimum of two years experience as a hotel receptionist.
- Current LCQ & GM certificate required.
- Full Driver's Licence required.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Flexibility to work both morning and afternoon shifts.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing).
- Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
