Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 16 hours per week.
Shift Times: 10:30pm - 7:00am (can be flexible with days worked).
Wage Rate: $27 - $28.94 per hour

The Night Manager role oversees the night shift, and is the the first-in-line for any guest requests overnight. You'll take the lead on overnight operations, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Supervision and oversight of night shifts, including meeting and greeting guests arriving late.
- Responding to guest queries or requests at night.
- Oversight of security of the hotel property, and reporting any incidents or concerns to Management.
- Perform night audit and reconcile transactions from the Front Office and Food & Beverage departments. Locate and correct any discrepancies.
- Ensure guest records and billing are accurate and up to date in the system.
- Coordinate early morning wake-up calls and transport bookings for guests.
- Prepare Front Office for the morning shift, and clean the reception and public areas.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably directed by the Front Office Manager or Hotel Manager.
Preferred skills & Experience: - 1-2 years experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
- Must hold a current Managers Certificate.
- A full NZ Drivers License.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using property management systems (PMS)
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security and safety.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative during overnight shifts.
