Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Rotating roster, including weekends.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent position
Wage: $25.00ph - $29.00ph

The Cook role offers variety, and is the ideal opportunity for an experienced culinary professional looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The Cook role will involve:

• Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other equipment.
• Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces & garnishes.
• Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.
• Follow all sanitation and hygenic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
The successful candidate will need to have:

• 1-2 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment, and
• A hospitality, cookery or culinary qualification (preferred), and
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
