Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in social media, event management, and strategic marketing planning. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence, driving enrolments, and building occupancy across our centres.
The position is full time at our Head Office in Crows Nest, across the road from the metro station or have access to a permanent parking spot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and occupancy rates. This includes analysing market trends, identifying target audiences, and crafting tailored campaigns that resonate with prospective families.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and manage all social media platforms, creating engaging content that reflects our centre's values and philosophy. Monitor social media trends, analyse performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimise engagement and reach.
- Event Management: Plan and execute events such as open days, community outreach programs, and educational workshops. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with our brand and effectively showcase our centres' offerings.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the admissions and educational teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding. Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise return on investment.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and parent expectations. Utilise insights to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Digital Marketing and SEO: Implement and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including search engine optimisation (SEO), email marketing, and online advertising campaigns, to enhance online visibility and attract prospective families.
- Brand Development: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communications.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on social media, event management, and strategic planning.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive occupancy or sales growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Adobe CS - InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Background in Early Education and Care is a great advantage.
