Our Client is a major manufacturer and supplier to the building and construction industry are currently seeking x6 experienced Machine Operators / Forklift drivers to join their team on a long-term basis. 
 
The Role:
Located in the eastern suburbs of Perth, this role will see you reporting directly to the Production Supervisor working amongst the fixed-plant machinery in the manufacturing facility. You will be required to complete the following duties:

• Monitoring and operating factory machinery / equipment (Kilns and press operator)
• Isolating machinery in the case of process or mechanical issues
• Following quality control procedures
• Adhering to safety protocols, attending toolbox meetings 
• Operating the forklift 

Requirements:

• Previous machine operating experience is a must!
• Must have a current driver's licence and own vehicle to get to work
• Ability to work on a continuous shift roster (days and nights) 
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Forklift License - essential
• Be a permanent resident of Australia with full work rights (sorry no holiday visas)

Roster & Remuneration:
You will be required to work on a rolling shift pattern comprising of both days & nights, each shift being 12-hours made up of 7 shifts per fortnight (5 shifts week 1 / 2 shifts week 2 with R&R in between days & nights inc every second weekend) 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am. 

Hourly rate of $44.31 p/hr. Should you work outside your usual shift pattern then DOUBLE TIME will apply for the whole shift!
