Our client operates across a range of industrial and infrastructure environments, delivering essential drainage maintenance and services throughout the Perth metro area. Due to continued business growth, they are now seeking a reliable Drainage Offsider to join their team.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door of the civil and drainage industry. No extensive experience is required, with full training provided on the job. You'll work alongside experienced truck drivers and drainage crews, assisting with day-to-day works and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
 
Malaga Depot + Perth Metro Site Locations
$38.44 - $40.00/hr + super + penalties
Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:40pm + additional OT
Training & Upskilling | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
 
What Will You Be Doing?
Starting from the Malaga depot each morning, you'll head out with the crew in a company vehicle to worksites across Perth. Your duties will include:

• Assisting truck drivers with drainage and civil works
• Supporting drainage maintenance and cleaning activities
• Assisting with CCTV inspections of drainage structures
• General labouring and site clean-up
• Assisting with the setup and pack-up of equipment
• Using basic hand tools and equipment as required
• Following instructions from experienced crew members
• Completing basic site paperwork and pre-starts
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Current Construction White Card
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labour
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions
• Safety-focused and able to work well within a team
• Previous labouring, construction or civil experience is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol assessment
• Full Australian working rights
