Due to continued growth and investment in new machinery, we currently seeking both a First-Class and Second-Class Machinist for our client located in Guildford.

Second-Class Machinist
This role is perfect for someone with manual machining experience (trade-qualified or unqualified) who wants to grow, learn, and be part of a high-performing workshop environment!
Pay Rate: $38/Hr (Day Shift), $48/Hr (Night Shift)
Roster: Monday – Friday, 2-Weeks Day Shift (6am – 4:30pm) & 2-Weeks Night Shift (4pm – 2:30am)
Job Duties: operate both Manual machines and CNC machines, such as horizontal and vertical borers, lathes and mills to support the rebuilding and machining of hydraulic components, reading and interpreting engineering drawing, and using precision measuring instruments including callipers, micrometres, dial indicators and bore gauges to inspect and verify completed work.
First-Class Machinist
This is a hands-on repair machining role, where you will be machining and refurbishing heavy equipment components used in the mining sector, working across both manual and CNC equipment.
Pay Rate: $55/Hr (Day Shifts) & $65/Hr (Night Shifts)
Roster: 4 Days on (6am – 6pm), 4 off, 4 Nights on (6pm – 6am), 4 off
Job Duties: Work with engineering drawings, measuring tools, and machining processes to achieve tight tolerances, machining hydraulic cylinder components, completing precision repair and refurbishment work on heavy equipment components and operating CNC and manual machining equipment including:
