Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking experienced 3x Mechanical Fitters for upcoming shutdown and maintenance works in Queensland, commencing from mid-October.
Key Details:
$63/hr + super
$94.50/hr overtime and weekends
Work with a well-established industrial maintenance contractor
Commencement: 12/10 (potential extension into November)
Scope of works is expected to include:
Gearbox overhauls and inspections
Steam turbine minor overhauls
Maintenance and shutdown activities
To be considered, you will have:
Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
Previous shutdown, maintenance or overhaul experience
Experience working on rotating equipment, gearboxes or turbines highly regarded
Current driver's licence
Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol test
Working at heights, Gas Test, Confined Spaces
