Contracts Administrator
 
Location: Perth's Southern Suburbs 
Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 + Super (depending on experience)
 
Our client is a well-established commercial builder delivering a range of projects across WA. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative business, working across a diverse range of residential and commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors, playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
 
The Role

• Administer construction contracts from project commencement through to completion
• Assist with procurement, tendering and subcontractor engagement
• Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders
• Assess progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments
• Monitor project costs and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain contractual documentation and project records
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Support the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects
• Assist in identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction industry
• Experience working on commercial, residential or mixed construction projects
• Understanding of contract administration, procurement and cost control
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and contract documentation
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
• Full Australian Working Rights
