Pearl Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Bid Manager / Proposal Manager for a respected Perth CBD engineering consultancy servicing the mining and resources sectors.

What will the role see you responsible for?
Working closely with business development, project delivery, engineering and You will lead high-quality proposals and tenders across mining, resources and mineral processing projects, working closely with business development, engineering and project delivery teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing new opportunities and helping decide whether the company should submit a bid.
• Developing tender strategies, action plans and submission timelines.
• Coordinating input from engineering, project delivery, commercial and other internal teams.
• Preparing clear, professional proposals and tender documents that meet client requirements.
• Developing fee estimates, pricing schedules and resource plans.
• Ensuring all tenders are accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
• Reviewing scopes of work and tender documents to identify risks, requirements and opportunities.
• Maintaining proposal templates, registers and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with client presentations, tender clarifications and negotiations.
• Improving proposal processes, systems and submission quality.
• Supporting business development and project teams with upcoming opportunities.

 
What do you require to be successful?
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy or another relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in a similar proposal or tender role within a mining, resources, mineral processing or engineering project delivery environment. 
• Experience preparing fee estimates, execution strategies and resourcing plans.
• Strong coordination, communication and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver quality submissions on time.
• Previous experience within an EPCM engineering consultancy (highly regarded).
