Our client is a well-established engineering company based in Henderson, supporting the marine, mining, energy and industrial sectors across Western Australia. They are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yardhand to join their workshop team based in Henderson.
 
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and is looking for a long-term opportunity.
 
About the Role:

• General yard and workshop duties
• Loading and unloading materials
• Assisting tradespeople with daily tasks
• Forklift operation
• Local deliveries as required
• Manual handling and keeping the yard organised

What's on Offer?

• $40-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Overtime available
• Casual role with the intention of permanent employment for the right person
• Immediate start available

To Be Considered You Will Have:

• Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Yardhand or similar role
• HR Driver's Licence (essential)
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Construction White Card (highly regarded)
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/drug & alcohol test
• National police check or willing to obtain
• Full Australian Working Rights
