Our client is working on a major waste disposal facility in Eton, just outside of Mackay. Due to increased demand, they are looking for additional machine operators to start ASAP! 

Civil/Landfill Operators

• $52 flate rate
• Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Occasional) 

The Role:
This position will see you operating an excavator (Bulk earthworks, trenching, landfill construction, loading trucks), watercart or Morooka for the handling of waste and/or onsite civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• [Watercart Operator] Dust suppression during civil construction, haul road maintenance and general site support.
• [Excavator Operator] Bulk earthworks such as trenching and drainage works, landfill construction activities and loading Morookas.
• [Morooka Operators] Operation of tracked dump truck - transporting clay, aggregate and construction materials around the landfill and civil sites. (Experience operating excavators or Moxy’s is advantageous)
• Ability to conduct pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements:

• Operators much have current tickets for at least 1 of the following:  Excavator / Moxy or Tracked Dumper Operations / Watercart or HR License
• White Card
• Previous civil or landfill operating and/or labouring experience
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights
