Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a well-established global business servicing the heavy vehicle and transport industries.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an immediate start available. The role would suit someone with strong warehousing experience who is confident coordinating receivables/freight inwards operations, while still being hands-on and supporting a small team day to day.

$80,000 – $85,000 + Super + Bonuses

What will the role see you responsible for?
Working within the receivables/freight inwards area, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth flow of incoming stock while leading a small team of 2–3 people. Key duties will include:

• Leading and supporting a small receivables team within daily warehouse operation
• Coordinating incoming freight, stock receipting, labelling and put-away processes
• Allocating daily tasks and monitoring workflow to ensure goods are processed accurately and on time
• Checking incoming parts and ensuring they are placed into the correct warehouse locations
• Using internal systems, including MoPro, to assist with receivables and stock management
• Identifying stock or receivables issues and escalating where required
• Supporting training, safe work practices and general housekeeping within the receivables area
• Assisting with hands-on warehouse duties, including forklift operation, as required 

 
What do you require to be successful for this position?

• Previous warehouse team leading, supervisory or senior storeperson experience
• Strong proven experience within receivables, freight inwards or inventory control
• Good computer literacy and confidence using stock controlling software (previous MoPro experience advantageous) 
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide team members, maintain standards and promote safe, efficient warehouse practices
• Current forklift licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol assessment
