Pearl Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing business based in Perth's southeastern suburbs.
  
This opportunity would suit someone with strong brake press experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality components and is confident working within a busy workshop environment.

Dayshift or Nightshift Available
Days: $62.50 hr + Super
Nights: $75.00 hr + Super 
Overtime available
Temp to Perm Opportunity

What will the role see you responsible for?

• Following drawings, BOMs and job instructions to complete work accurately
• Setting machinery for each job and making minor adjustments where required
• Operating LVD 170 tonne Brake Press machinery to form metal components
  Running Tube Laser and Flat Bed Laser machinery as required
  Completing rolling, bending and general machine operation duties
• Checking measurements during production to ensure parts are correct
• Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Preparing finished jobs for packing or dispatch
• Working with minimal supervision while supporting the wider workshop team 

What do you require to be successful for this position?

• Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating Press Brake machinery in a similar manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets
• Strong attention to detail with a reliable and safety-focused approach
  Ability to work autonomously, communicate clearly and solve problems as required
• Forklift licence (advantageous) 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
• Full working rights in Australia
