Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking a Door Manufacturer Labourer to join a global leader in the manufacturing of insulated panels and doors used for temperature-controlled residential and commercial buildings. This is a long-term opportunity that will offer progression and skill development.

Malaga location
$35/hour + Super + penalties 
Mon to Thursday 6:30am-3:00pm, Friday 6:30am to 12:30pm + optional OT

The role:
This is a hands-on position within the workshop that will see you completing the following: 

• Measuring, cutting and assembling thin steel and aluminium components for door manufacture and larger personal access and sliding freezer doors 
• Use hand and power tools including drop saws, circular saws, table saws, jigsaws, drills, pop rivet guns, hex guns and angle grinders
• Operating and assisting on the panel line and door workstations
• Set up steel coils into machines for processing
• Strap, pack and label finished doors with customer job numbers
• Maintain tools, machinery and keep work areas clean and organised
• Progress into taking ownership of specific door manufacturing stations

What do you require to be successful in this position?

• Experience working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (previous experience within cabinetry, sheet metal or similar precision-based background highly advantageous) 
• High attention to detail and an eye for precision and finish 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Physically fit and reliable
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport 
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
