Our client is a specialist engineering and maintenance provider delivering high-level support across rotating equipment, compressors, and industrial machinery. They are kicking off a short-term offshore project and are now seeking experienced 6x Mechanical Fitters to join their team.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity suited to fitters with strong exposure to rotating equipment maintenance who are confident working in offshore environments.
 
Job Details:

• Dates Available:
• 3rd June to 21st June 
  29th May to 12th June
  29th May to 16th June
• Location: Offshore - Shell Prelude
• Pay Rate: $100 p/h + super

Scope of Work:

• Maintenance, repair and servicing of rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, turbines and gearboxes
• Inspection, testing and reporting on mechanical components and valves
• Disassembly, fault finding and rebuild of mechanical equipment
• Working both independently and within a team in a high-performance environment
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
• Heavily focused on rotating equipment, including compressors and valve systems

Requirements:

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (Australian Recognised)
• Proven experience working on rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines etc.)
• Strong fault finding and maintenance capability
• Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Offshore experience highly regarded
• Flange Management Certificate
• BOSIET / FOET (essential)
• Escape Chute
• MSIC (essential)
• Ability to commence for the full duration of the project

• Hands-on and confident with rotating equipment maintenance
• Comfortable working in offshore conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
