Mechanical Trade Assistant
Location: Ingleburn
Pay Rate: $37/Hr-$40/Hr + Penalties + Super (Pending Experience)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
Start: ASAP
 
Our client is a leading supplier of electrical mining equipment with locations throughout Australia. As a result of ongoing business growth, they are currently looking for a Mechanical Trade Assistant to join their strong team.

The role will be working within a workshop environment alongside qualified Mechanics, Boilermakers, and other qualified tradespeople supporting the larger servicing team of approx. 15-20 staff members in Sydney.
 
What will be my main responsibilities?

• Assisting tradespeople with fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly.
• Follow technical manuals, drawings, and written procedures.
• Using various hand and power tools to assist with servicing and repairs.
• Any other general workshop duties as required.

How can I be successful?

• Previous experience in a workshop or mechanical environment.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience (desirable).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Full Australian Working rights.
