We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our client's team based in Kewdale. The Role:
 
This role will see you supporting laboratory testing and quality control processes for specialised materials used in road marking and infrastructure applications.
 
Working within a laboratory environment alongside 1-2 others, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting laboratory testing in accordance with Australian Standards
• Performing quality control testing on paint, thermoplastic and related materials
• Preparing and analysing samples and compiling test results
• Preparing chemical solutions following standard formulas
• Maintaining accurate testing documentation and reports
• Assisting with sampling and analysis programs to ensure product quality
• Maintaining, cleaning and assisting with the calibration of laboratory equipment

Skills & Experience:

• Previous laboratory or quality control experience (essential)
• Ability to follow written procedures and testing methods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Experience or knowledge of paint, coatings or materials testing is advantageous but not essential
• Full Australian working rights (Sorry no holiday VISA'S)
