The Company:
Based in Malaga, our client is an international and sustainable printing and packaging company specializing in a variety of packaging solutions for not only the food and beverage industry but other sectors including healthcare, pet-care, beauty, home and garden.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator / Machine Operator to join our client's team on a long-term basis. You must have high attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and have your wits about you with safety and processes to be successful for this role.
This dual position will see you operating the 5 tonne forklift which has a clamp attachment to the front as well as operating one or more of their sheeting machines.
Requirements:
Mechanically minded with a keen interest in the printing industry
Must have a reliable car and a valid driver's license
Forklift License and experience in operating 5 tonne forklifts
A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment and process driven environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
Machinery adjustments as required, component changeouts
Quality Assurance
Moving pallets around factory floor
General factory housekeeping and cleaning
Directly assisting Die Cutter Operators as required
Hours & Pay:
You will be required to work a rotating shift pattern and will be paid $37.42 per hour + superannuation with penalties paid after 38 hours a week, Mon - Fri, 6am - 2:06pm.
