Our client is a leading provider of engineering design and manufacturing solutions to the mining, resources, and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team based in the southeastern suburbs of Perth.
The Role:
As the Customer Service Representative, you'll play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth flow of information across the business. Duties will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email, managing enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Processing sales orders, quotations, and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Providing clear updates to customers on order status, delivery timelines, and project progress
- Liaising with internal departments including sales, engineering, production, and accounts to ensure customer needs are met
- Assisting with invoicing queries and general administrative support as required
- Maintaining accurate customer, order, and job records within internal systems
- Supporting a seamless end-to-end customer journey that encourages strong relationships and repeat business
- Other duties as required by the Sales Manager and broader leadership team
About You: You're a customer-focused professional who takes pride in clear communication, attention to detail, and being someone others can rely on. You enjoy variety in your day and are comfortable working in an operational, fast-paced environment. In addition, you will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or similar support role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to work
- The ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion
- A team-first mindset with a respectful, people-focused approach
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, mining, or industrial environment (highly regarded but not essential)
- Unrestricted working rights
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol assessment
