HR & IR Advisor / Senior HR & IR Advisor
Henderson, WA Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
Temp-to-perm opportunity
8:30am - 5:00pm (flexible start/finish times)
Negotiable depending on experience.
 
Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a large, Australian-owned engineering and construction contractor supporting major projects across energy, resources, infrastructure, marine, and defence sectors. Due to ongoing project wins and sustained growth, they are expanding their internal HR/IR function and are seeking experienced HR & IR Advisors or Senior Advisors to join the team.
 
These roles are primarily based out of the Henderson corporate office, with some exposure to Perth metro project sites. You will play a hands-on role supporting operational leaders and site teams across complex, fast-paced environments.
 
The Role

• Provide practical HR, ER, and IR support across the business, working closely with managers and employees to manage day-to-day people matters and more complex case work.
• Assist performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes, union interaction, compliance with industrial instruments, and maintaining accurate HR records.
• Support workforce movement between projects, prepare employment and change documentation, deliver site inductions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems, policies, and processes.
• Senior-level candidates will take the lead on complex ER/IR matters, coach leaders, manage union interface, and oversee subcontractor ER/IR risk.

About You:

• You bring solid experience in an HR advisory role with strong ER/IR exposure, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or defence industry.
• Confident dealing with sensitive issues, advising leaders, and working in a contractor or project-based environment.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments, and comfortable using HR systems such as SuccessFactors or similar.
• You are practical, commercially aware, and enjoy being close to operations rather than purely policy-based HR.

• Comfortable working across office and site environments
