Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson for our client who specialise in earthworks and the installation of underground cabling services. Based in Gnangara, this role offers an immediate start and a long-term opportunity for progression.
 
Forklift Operator / Storeperson
Gnangara Location
$40 - $42hr + Super + Penalties
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Temp to Perm Opportunity
 
Responsibilities:

• Operate 3-tonne and 5-tonne Crown forklifts to load, unload and move materials safely.
• Perform stock counts and stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Complete manual paperwork to check inbound and outbound goods and delivery dockets.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Pick, stage and issue materials for delivery or collection by site crews.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and yard in line with safety requirements.
• Assist with general yard and stores duties as required.
• Comply with WHS, manual handling and forklift safety procedures at all times.

To be successful for this position:

• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Previous 1 year experience handling heavy materials, equipment and parts
• MR Licence (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current WA Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Strong communication and organisational skills
