Our client, a well-established WA-owned manufacturer and supplier to the construction and building industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Finance team on a temp-to-permanent basis.

The Role
Based in South Guildford, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable functions across multiple Perth-based manufacturing sites. This position suits a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate entry, matching, and coding of invoices
• Ensuring purchase order compliance and appropriate approvals
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Managing supplier queries and onboarding new suppliers
• Assisting with month-end finance processes
• Processing EFT payments
• Contributing to a safe, supportive, and team-focused workplace

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
• Intermediate to strong MS Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems (QAD highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full Australian working rights (holiday visas not suitable)

Hours & Remuneration

• 8:30AM – 4:30PM - Monday to Friday – | Full-time hours
• Competitive hourly rate of $44.28 per hour, paid weekly
• Commencing on a contract (labour hire) basis, with a clear pathway to permanent employment after 3 months
