Our client, a well-established WA-owned supplier to the construction and building industry, is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their team on an ongoing to permanent basis. Multiple vacancies are available at their Caversham site, with immediate starts on offer.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be working within a busy outdoor supply yard supporting daily production and dispatch operations. This is a hands-on role suited to reliable and safety-focused individuals who enjoy physical work and operating plant equipment.

Key duties include:

• Strapping, wrapping, and preparing bricks onto pallets for transport
• Operating the 5 Tonne forklifts to move, load, and unload product
• Loading and unloading trucks in line with delivery schedules
• Manual handling and general labouring duties
• General housekeeping & maintenance duties around the yard

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous forklift operating experience in a yard, warehouse, or production environment
• A current LF Forklift Licence
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment
• Good awareness of safety procedures and manual handling requirements

Details

• Outdoor-based role in a fast-paced environment
• Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required
• Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Pay rate: $43.96 per hour + penalties after 7.6 hours worked
