We are currently seeking experienced Trades for an upcoming Rio Tinto shutdown for our client who is a WA-based engineering and fabrication contractor specialising in steel and material fabrication and broader engineering services.
 
Trades Required

• 6X Fluxcore Welders
• 4X Boilermakers
• 2X Pipefitters
• 4X Advanced Riggers

Details:
Location: Rio Tinto Cape Lambert (dayshift only) 
Start date: 30 January 2026
Duration: Approx. 2 weeks
Roster: 11 hours per shift
Pay rate: $65.00 flat p/h + super
Scope: Shutdown maintenance and installation works across structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping, and complex lifting activities depending on trade.
 
Requirements:

• Rio Tinto Inducted (preferred)
• Trade Certificate
• High Risk Licence
• Confined Spaces + Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• White Card
• Drivers licence
• Able to pass pre-employment medical + DAS
• MSIC Card (preferred)
• Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
