A leading provider of industrial pump and valve solutions, serving a wide range of industries with reliable and efficient equipment. As a trusted name in the industry, we are seeking an experienced Machinist Fitter to join our team in Wangara.
 
Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce high-precision components
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify faults and implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and maintenance schedules.

Requirements:  

• Australian Qualification - Certificate III in Mechanical Trade, Mechanical Fitter, or similar qualification.
• Proven experience as a Machinist, specifically working with pumps and valves.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a Medical and drug and alcohol.

 About the Position:

• Pay - $56.25 to $62.50 per hour + super (dependent on experience)
• Hours - Mon 7AM to 3:30PM | Tues to Fri 7AM to 3PM
• Potential for Overtime and Weekend work - which would include penalties
