Boilermaker – Fixed Plant
Location: Goldfields Region, Western Australia
Roster: 2:1 – 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Days Off
Hours: 12-hour shifts (rotating days and nights)
Pay Rate: $79.01 per hour (flat rate – all shifts)
Weekly Earnings: Approx. $6,636.84 before tax
Start Date: ASAP
  
About the Role
Our client is a reputable mining services contractor supporting a major Goldfields operation. They are seeking experienced Boilermakers with proven crusher maintenance experience to join their fixed plant maintenance team on a FIFO basis.
This role is ideal for tradespeople with strong fabrication, welding, and crusher maintenance skills who are safety-focused, hands-on, and experienced working in a mining environment.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, repairs, and maintenance on crusher components and associated fixed plant equipment
• Maintain and repair primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing circuits
• Carry out structural repairs, chute work, hoppers, skirts, and conveyor-related components
• Conduct crack repairs, wear plate replacement, and component change-outs
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on crushers and supporting structures
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety systems and procedures
• Complete all required permits, maintenance documentation, and reporting
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and maintenance teams to meet production and safety targets

  
Requirements:

• Australian Recognised Boilermaker Trade Certificate
• Previous hands-on experience in crusher maintenance (essential)
• Working at Heights certification (issued within the last 2 years)
• Confined Space certification (issued within the last 2 years)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
