Pearl Recruitment is seeking a QA / Document Controller to join our client, a well-regarded consultancy supporting major players in the mining and resources sector. Based just outside Perth's CBD, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and professional team working across multiple projects with tier-one mining clients.
 
About the Role:
This role supports both quality assurance and document control functions across projects, management, and internal teams, making sure quality standards are consistently applied across the business. You will manage document systems, assist with audits, support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), and ensure company documentation aligns with internal standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
 
Responsibilities:

• Maintain the company's document control system, including version control, storage, and compliance with document lifecycle procedures
• Receive, record, and distribute incoming/outgoing documentation, including creation and logging of transmittals
• Ensure accuracy, formatting, branding, and grammar of all controlled documents
• Ensure document retention, archiving, and disposal processes align with QMS and ISO requirements
• Support the maintenance and development of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assist with audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions in line with ISO 9001 standards
• Support training and awareness initiatives related to the QMS
• Assist with QA reporting, register maintenance, and evaluation activities
• Contribute to company system development and continual improvement efforts

About You:

• Previous experience in a QA and/or Document Control role, ideally within mining, engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with QMS systems
• Internal auditing and practical experience (preferred)
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary & Flexibility:

• Full-time or part-time hours available (minimum 24 hours per week)
• Salary dependent on experience and level of responsibility
• Office is centrally located near public transport, with paid onsite parking available
