Our client is a construction specialist, who delivers safe, efficient, and commercial solutions. Located conveniently in Malaga, WA with parking on site and multiple opportunities for career growth and development.
 
We are currently seeking a Ceiling Fixer/Flushers to join our client's team on an ongoing permanent position at an adjusted rate, servicing multiple projects around Perth metro and regional WA.
 
The Role

• Read and follow drawings and plans
• Make and install decorative plaster features (mouldings, cornices, rosettes, etc.)
• Mix and apply plaster to walls and ceilings
• Build and sheet metal stud walls and suspended ceilings
• Repair and restore old or damaged plasterwork
• Prepare surfaces before plastering
• Check work quality and fix any defects
• Follow all safety rules and use PPE
• Handle and store materials and tools safely
• Keep track of plaster materials and supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a fibrous plasterer or ceiling & wall fixer
• Able to read and understand plans and blueprints
• Physically fit and able to do hands-on work
• Able to lift heavy materials and work in different weather conditions
• Current Australian driver's licence and White Card (essential).
• Solid understanding of construction site safety and WHS practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to working effectively as part of a team.

  
The role will see you working across various sites depending on job requirements.  It is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working a standard Monday to Friday with some occasional overtime/weekend work. You will be rewarded with a hourly rate of $40-$48/hr + Super + Penalties + Working Away Allowances (when required). Ideally looking for someone to start immediately.
