Our client is a security fencing specialist delivering practical, high-standard solutions across commercial and industrial projects looking for a Junior Sales / Project Estimator Assistant. This is an entry-level role with long-term growth into a full estimator position.
You'll support the sales and estimating team with day-to-day tasks while building your industry knowledge.
Key Details:
- Pay Rate: $35 - $37 p/h + super
- Location: Malaga, WA
- Commencement: Early December
- Hours: Full-Time - Mon-Fri approximately 38hrs per week
- Employment Type: Temp to a view of permanency in the future.
What you'll be doing: Sales data entry, quotation follow-ups, CRM updates, maintaining supplier RFQs, and general estimating support. As you learn the fencing products and processes, you'll take on more technical estimating work.
About You:
This role suits someone who's had admin or customer experience and is comfortable working in a product-based environment. Experience in construction, manufacturing, or trades-related businesses is helpful, but not essential. Ideally someone who is organised, good with numbers, and willing to learn how quoting and project pricing works.
You'll bring a strong attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication. You're comfortable working with numbers, picking up new systems, and handling the basics of quoting and pricing as you grow into the role.
Requirements: - Previous exposure to civil construction, infrastructure, or related project environments
- Strong analytical and numerical skills (essential)
- Understanding of construction, or product-based environments
- Confident computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, SIMPRO
- Organised, reliable, and able to follow processes
- Strong written communication and accuracy in documentation
- Driver's License and reliable car
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol test
- Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
