Trade Assistant with Forklift Licence  / Redcliffe Location / $35/hr + Super

Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking Trade Assistants for our well-established client who specialises in the manufacturing and construction of a wide range of prefabricated products and innovative industrial equipment in WA
We’re looking for 1-2 experienced Trade Assistants available for an immediate start on a 2–3 month project, with potential for ongoing work. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a strong workshop background and a forklift licence.
Details:

• Redcliffe location
• $35.00 hr + super + penalties
• Monday to Friday + half day Saturdays
• 10 – 12 hr shifts on offer

Job Duties:

• Assist senior technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks
• Operate forklift to move heavy equipment and materials
• Pick and organise parts from stores
• Pack and prepare structural steel for transport
• Load/unload trucks with structural steel
• Support fabricators with general duties
• Cut beams and RHS, drill holes
• Maintain clean and organised workshop
• General forklift and yard duties

Requirements:

• Forklift licence
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol test
• Previous experience in a fabrication or workshop environment
