Join an Australian-owned distributor supplying a wide range of industrial products to key sectors including construction, mining, and manufacturing. Known for their commitment to quality service and long-term client relationships, they’re now seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their Welshpool team with supporting order and processing warehouse coordination.

This is a full-time, permanent position perfect for someone who is eager to learn and ready to take initiative. The role requires a strong work ethic, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to handle both small and large, complex orders.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service, both over the phone and in person.
• Manage customer enquiries and process a wide range of orders, from single parts to large, complex requirements.
• Liaise with clients regarding delays, pricing, project updates, and general order progress.
• Assist the accounts team with invoicing, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform data entry, support stock take processes, and assist with inventory control.
• Collaborate with a team of 7 customer service staff to meet daily targets and maintain service standards.
• Use Outlook and Excel to manage communications and order-related information.

About You:

• Background in warehousing, spare parts, logistics, or similar environments (preferred).
• A fast learner with a proactive attitude and the confidence to make independent decisions.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable asking questions to ensure accuracy.
• Industrial knowledge is a plus, but not essential – willingness to learn is key.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• A team player with the ability to handle a variety of orders and tasks in a busy environment.
