Pearl Recruitment is looking for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our client in Forrestfield. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. This is a long-term role that requires an immediate start.

$46.83 + Super + Penalties
Monday to Friday + OT
 
The Role:
You will provide maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and general facilities  

• Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment tools and machinery.
• Maintain building infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. Conduct minor repairs on office spaces, restrooms and common areas.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend assetlife.  
• Ensure all work and facilities is done in line with HSE.
• Conduct safety checks on fire alarms, emergency exists and ventilation systems.
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues that could impact production.  Diagnose and resolve unexpected mechanical or electrical failures efficiently.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts inventory, and service schedules. Order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and servicing.

Requirements  

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in upkeeping facilities and machinery (Desirable)
• Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• HRWL – WP, LF + DG
• Full Australian Working Rights
