Our Client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry, are currently seeking a Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join their team on a contract to permanent basis. 

The Role:
As the Forklift Operator / Yard Hand, you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and play an essential role in the smooth running of the outdoor yard operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a 10 tonne forklift 
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Strapping products onto pallets for delivery
• Performing general labouring and housekeeping duties as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current Forklift License with proven experience in 10 tonne forklift operation 
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transport to get to and from work
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, along with drug and alcohol testing
• Permanent residency in Australia with full work rights

What We Offer:

• A hands on role working both indoors and outdoors
• A rotating Monday to Friday roster, with shifts from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Pay rate of $47.10 per hour (flat rate)
