Our client, a highly regarded Mechanical Contractor with a strong reputation in the industry, is currently looking for an experienced Painter / Blaster to join their team. This role is a part of the ongoing Asset Integrity Project at a major mine site in Kwinana.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting and abrasive blasting on a variety of surfaces and equipment
• Operate airless spray pumps and perform garnet blasting
• Carry out surface preparation to a high standard
• Follow strict safety and quality procedures on-site
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Comply with site and company policies and procedures, including hazard identification and risk management

  
Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience within Industrial Painting & Blasting
• Experience using airless pumps
• Experience with Garnet Blasting
• High Risk Licence (EWP, Forklift) - Advantageous
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
