London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

An award-winning AJ100 architecture and masterplanning practice is looking to appoint either a Midweight Interior Designer with architectural experience or an Architect with strong Cat A & Cat B commercial fit-out expertise.

Based in the practice's London studio, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of workplace, logistics and healthcare projects, taking schemes from early-stage concept through to technical delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, design-led team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects across the UK.

The Role Working closely with clients and colleagues, you'll play an important role throughout the design process, with responsibilities including:

• Leading and supporting Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects across multiple sectors.
• Taking client briefs and developing concepts through the RIBA stages.
• Producing workplace test fits and space planning layouts.
• Attending client meetings, presentations and stakeholder workshops.
• Carrying out site visits, surveys and design reviews.
• Producing technical design information and construction drawing packages.
• Delivering project documentation primarily in Revit, with occasional AutoCAD.
• Coordinating with an in-house CGI and Digital team to produce presentation material.
• Collaborating with colleagues across multiple UK offices.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• A minimum of 3 years' commercial interiors experience.
• Strong Cat A & Cat B workplace fit-out experience.
• Proven Revit capability on live construction projects.
• Experience taking projects from concept through to technical delivery.
• Front-end workplace design and space planning experience.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client-facing abilities.
• Experience working directly with clients, consultants and wider project teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• SketchUp experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
• The ability to work independently while working collaboratively within project teams.
