As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse stock. You will play a critical role in managing inventory processes, maintaining accurate stock records, and investigating discrepancies to support smooth warehouse operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead inventory control processes, ensuring timely stock checks and accurate record-keeping
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, working closely with the Warehouse Manager
• Conduct regular stock audits, bin location checks, and cycle counts
• Maintain full traceability of inventory, ensuring batch numbers and test certificates are correctly recorded
• Assist in claims processing, warehouse documentation, and order dispatch
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, drivers, and suppliers with stock-related inquiries
• Ensure health & safety compliance, promoting a safe work environment for all

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
• Great communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory management software (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus)
