Lynx Recruitment is looking for an experienced HVAC Electrician to join a top team in Whangarei. This is a long-term opportunity with steady work, the chance to become permanent, weekly pay, great rates, and a strong team environment. If you’ve got experience with heat pumps, air con units, ventilation systems, and ducted installs, and don’t mind working at heights, in confined spaces, and roof cavities, we want to hear from you.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing, wiring, and connecting heat pumps, air conditioning units, ducted systems, ventilation systems, and extractor fans
• Running electrical wiring, conduits, and control systems for HVAC equipment
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical faults in heating and cooling systems
• Climbing ladders and working at heights on rooftops and high installations
• Navigating confined spaces and roof cavities for HVAC installs
• Handling indoor and outdoor installations
• Following EWRB regulations and electrical safety codes
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Working alongside HVAC technicians, engineers, and other trades to complete projects

What We’re Looking For

• EWRB Registration – Full practising licence is essential
• HVAC Electrical Experience – Some background in wiring and installing heat pumps, ACs, and ventilation systems
• Physically Fit – Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
• Attention to Detail – High-quality workmanship is key
• Reliable Transport & Own Tools
