We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! If you have experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial environments, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring fire detection and alarm systems are installed, tested, and maintained to the highest standards. You will work across a range of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with New Zealand fire safety regulations and delivering top-quality service.

What You’ll Do

✅ Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings
✅ Conduct routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on fire alarm and detection systems
✅ Ensure compliance with NZS 4512 and other relevant regulations
✅ Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding system performance and compliance
✅ Maintain accurate service records and reports
✅ Work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Experience in fire alarm installation and servicing (minimum 3 years preferred)
✔️ Strong knowledge of NZ fire safety regulations and standards
✔️ Ability to troubleshoot and repair various fire detection systems
✔️ Relevant qualifications in fire protection, electrical, or a related field
✔️ Current electrical practising licence (if applicable)
✔️ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
✔️ Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
