Our client

Leading nationwide contractor specializing in high-end shopfitting and interiors. With a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a Team Lead Spray Painter to join their team at their Avondale factory.


The Role:

• Oversee spray painting operations in a factory-based spray booth in a permanent position.
• Prepare surfaces: sand, clean, and prep cabinetry and doors for finishing.
• Apply spray painting techniques to cabinetry and doors, ensuring smooth and even coverage.
• Mix and prepare paints, stains, and other finishing products according to specifications.
• Manage daily operations of the paint finishing team, ensuring quality standards and client deadlines are met.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate workflows and production schedules.
• Order stock and manage relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain and service spray painting equipment.
• Ensure high Health & Safety standards in the paint shop and provide training on safe equipment use.
• Prepare samples for clients and assist on-site when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Senior or Lead Spray Painter
• Strong knowledge of shopfitting/interiors finishes
• Experience leading teams
• Ability to manage workflow and ensure top-quality finishes
• Hands-on and proactive approach
