Project Manager | Tauranga

We're partnering with a well-established commercial main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the Bay of Plenty. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. The company specialises in commercial construction, offering services across project planning, pre-construction, design, cost management and construction delivery.
This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee 2-3 projects at any one time, taking ownership from pre-construction through to successful completion. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely on programme and within budget.


About the Role

• Manage 2-3 commercial construction projects across the Bay of Plenty
• Lead projects from tender and pre-construction through to handover
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Oversee programme, budget, procurement and commercial outcomes
• Travel between project sites as required

About You

• Proven Project Management experience with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial main contractor
• Strong background delivering commercial construction projects in New Zealand
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of tendering, pre-construction planning and contract administration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full New Zealand driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites
