This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join a well‑established, market‑leading, multi‑disciplinary consultancy based in Auckland. Our client provides expert professional services across surveying and engineering, with a strong pipeline of work and a diverse portfolio of projects.

Projects span residential, commercial, industrial, utilities, transport, public spaces, health, education, infrastructure, government and mixed‑use developments.

The Role

• Undertake a mix of field and office‑based surveying work
• Complete compliance surveys including Height to Boundary surveys and calculations
• Carry out deformation monitoring surveys and information searches
• Collect and record survey and GIS data for plans and reports
• Operate survey equipment including GPS, Total Stations and levels
• Draft survey notes and detailed drawings
• Process survey data to produce DWG files for CAD technicians
• Project coordination and billing
• Provide support to the wider business as required

About You

• 5+ years’ surveying experience within New Zealand
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Licensed Cadastral Surveyor status
• Strong written communication and numerical skills
• Ability to operate technical and electronic equipment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Full NZ driver’s licence
