Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and versatile Intermediate Electrical Engineer based in Auckland CBD working for a Specialist in the Building Services sector. This full-time role will see you take on a critical position, contributing your expertise to the company's diverse portfolio of electrical engineering projects which include Commercial Buildings, Hospitals, Hospitality and some Residential.
  
What you'll be doing

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems including Security, ELV and IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to more junior members of the engineering team
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address queries and ensure compliance

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer in a Consultancy environment
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
• Proficiency in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
