We’re partnering with a well-established Perth based solar company experiencing strong growth and looking to expand their installation teams.

With consistent workflow, strong systems, and a genuine focus on quality and customer experience, this is a long-term opportunity for electricians and installers wanting stable work in a booming renewables market.

This role suits both local WA electricians and NZ qualified electricians looking to make the move to Australia.

Relocation & Licensing (NZ Candidates):

• NZ passport holders can start work immediately on arrival in Australia.
• WA electrical licence can be transferred via mutual recognition (typically 7–10 weeks).
• The licence transfer process can be started before relocating to reduce downtime.
• SAA accreditation can be completed in parallel (remote training options available).

The work:

• Residential solar and battery installations.
• Some commercial rooftop installs, with scope to grow this area.
• EV charger installations and occasional heat pump work.
• Full install responsibility: install, supervise crew, test, commission, and sign off.
• Team Structure: install teams of 2 - 4 people. Electrician leads the job and supervises apprentices/roofers.
• Hours: 8.5 hours a day, 40 hours a week, starting 6am / 7am. 
• Report to dedicated Install Supervisors and Install Manager.
• Strong QA focus: onsite checks during installs + post-install inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise installation teams to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality solar and battery installs.
• Complete electrical testing, commissioning, and all required compliance documentation onsite.
• Identify and manage site risks, ensuring work meets Australian Standards and company QA processes.
• Coordinate with supervisors, warehouse, and admin teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Represent the business professionally with customers, maintaining high workmanship and safety standards.

What you’ll need:

• Electrical qualification (NZ or AU).
• Willingness to transfer licence if relocating from NZ.
• Solar experience preferred.

• Comfortable supervising small teams.
• Full driver’s licence.
