Our Client:

We’re partnering with a well-established building contractor to secure an experienced FIFO Site Manager for an upcoming remote project.

This role will work back-to-back rotations with another Site Manager, ensuring continuity and strong site leadership throughout the build.

This is a hands-on, leadership focused role suited to someone who knows how to run a site properly, is great at managing people, programming, and safety in a remote environment without hand holding.

What the role looks like:

• Darwin based FIFO (flights operate Darwin to Bickerton only).
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster.
• 12 hour days, 7 days per week while on site, 12 month contract.
• Yourself and another Site Manager will cover back-to-back rotations.
• Salary range $185k - $215k, depending on experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subbies, site teams, and logistics in a remote FIFO environment.
• Maintain strong health & safety leadership, site discipline, and compliance at all times.
• Plan and manage construction programmes, resources, and materials to meet project milestones.
• Provide regular progress reporting, issue resolution, and communication with project leadership.

• 5+ years experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Confident running sites independently in remote or FIFO environments.
• Strong with subbies, safety, programme, and site discipline.
• Calm, practical leadership style, not reactive, not box-ticking.
• Darwin based candidates preferred, though experienced FIFO candidates will be considered.
