We’re on the lookout for licensed fire technicians who are ready for a long-term move to Queensland, Australia.
Our client is a well-established fire services company delivering installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire detection, emergency lighting, and suppression systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The Job
- Local Queensland projects only (no long-distance travel)
- Installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, and suppression systems
- Servicing and compliance testing to Australian Standards (AS1851 and others)
- Working across commercial, residential, healthcare, and government sites
- Emergency call-outs on a rotated roster
- Coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver quality work on time
- Mentoring apprentices or junior technicians if you’re experienced

Experience We Need - NZ or Australian Fire Protection Licence (or ability to transfer QBCC licences)
- 2+ years’ hands-on fire protection experience
- Confident with installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire systems
- Comfortable working independently and on-site with minimal supervision
- Strong communication with clients and team members
- Reliable, tidy, and safety-minded
- Full driver’s licence
- Experience with switchboards, VESDA, or special hazard systems is a bonus but not essential
