We’re looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team in Queenstown. This is an excellent opportunity to build your commercial skills, learn from senior QS mentors, and grow your career within a business that values initiative, teamwork, and professional development.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist senior QSs with take-offs, quantity assessments, and cost estimates
• Support quoting, variations, and progress claims under the Construction Contracts Act
• Help manage contracts, job setup, and project documentation
• Track costs, forecasts, and invoicing using WorkflowMax and internal systems
• Work closely with site supervisors, admin, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Grow your technical knowledge of waterproofing systems and installation methods

What we’re looking for

• Understanding of construction drawings and estimating principles
• Strong numeracy, accuracy, and Excel proficiency
• Clear communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Some experience in construction, trade contracting, or QS support preferred
• Reliable, organised, and eager to learn within a supportive team
