Intermediate Estimator – Christchurch

Looking to step up your estimating career? We’re working with a well-established Tier 2 contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across Canterbury. They’re now looking for an Intermediate Estimator to join the Christchurch team.

The Role

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tenders
• Complete take-offs from drawings and specs
• Review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with budgets and cost planning on live projects

About You

• 3–5 years’ estimating experience (commercial preferred)
• Good knowledge of NZ construction methods, codes, and contracts
• Confident with numbers, detail, and deadlines
• Proficient with estimating software + MS Office
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
