Right now, we’re searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong track record in the vertical building space to join a high-performing team based in Tauranga.

About the role:

This is a senior role where you’ll be trusted to lead from the front, managing projects, clients, and people while ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.

You’ll also play a key role in developing the next generation of project managers, providing mentorship and direction across the team.

The projects are significant, varied, and high-profile, spanning sectors such as education, transport, health, airports, and seismic/vertical builds. You’ll be directly engaging with clients, contributing to business development, and representing the consultancy at industry events.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects end-to-end, making sure delivery stays on time, on budget, and on point.
• Support and mentor the team, helping juniors and intermediates grow their careers.
• Build strong client relationships by really understanding their needs and delivering on them.
• Stay across budgets, plans, and risks to keep everything running smoothly.
• Get involved in business development, from client meetings to proposals and industry events.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

• 10+ years experience running big projects here in NZ (around $40m+).
• Solid background in vertical builds, bonus if you’ve touched seismic work.
• Tertiary qualified with consultancy or client-side PM experience under your belt.
• Strong communicator who can connect with anyone and adapt your style.
• A natural leader who balances technical delivery with supporting and growing your team.
