A well-established New Zealand-owned interiors and construction firm is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. With a 20-year track record of delivering award-winning commercial fit-outs, heritage refurbishments, and seismic upgrades, they’re known for doing things properly—no shortcuts, no compromises.
This company has a solid pipeline of projects across Auckland and occasionally beyond, working with leading designers, subcontractors, and developers. You’ll be part of a team that genuinely values trust, craftsmanship, and delivering quality over quantity.
 
What you’ll be doing

• Managing all on-site activity for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and program timelines
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Reporting back to Contracts Managers and QSs on progress and site conditions
• Troubleshooting problems on-site to keep work moving
• Holding everyone accountable to high standards of workmanship

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years of experience managing sites in commercial construction or interiors
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
• Confident communicator with tradespeople, clients, and consultants
• Strong understanding of NZ building code and health & safety compliance
• Reliable, organised, and able to take ownership of a site from start to finish
• Full NZ driver’s licence
• Trade qualification or LBP status is a bonus
